Day 1: The North-West Corridor | Negombo to Kalpitiya

Day 2: The Wild Frontier | Kalpitiya to Sigiriya via Wilpattu

Leaving the coast, we cut through the heart of Wilpattu National Park. This is "Big Game" country; the sandy "villus" (natural lakes) of Wilpattu are prime spots for leopards and sloth bears. After navigating the park’s interior tracks, we head toward the cultural triangle. Day 3: The East Coast Crossing | Sigiriya to Trincomalee

Day 4: The Medieval Capital | Trincomalee to Polonnaruwa

Day 5: The Unspoiled Shore | Polonnaruwa to Kalkudah

Today is about the raw beauty of the Eastern coastline. We drive toward the twin bays of Kalkudah and Passekudah. The tracks here are often less developed, offering a peaceful drive through remote fishing villages and palm-fringed trails. Once at the destination, the afternoon is yours to enjoy the crystal-clear turquoise waters, arguably the best swimming spots on the island.

Day 9: The High Tea Country | Meemure to Ella

Leaving the Knuckles, we navigate south toward the high-altitude town of Ella. The drive is a sensory overload of cascading waterfalls—including the famous Ravana Falls—and endless tea plantations. Day 10: The Southern Descent | Ella to Yala

We descend from the misty highlands to the sun-baked plains of the south. The route takes us through Tissamaharama, a gateway to the wilderness. Day 14: White-Water & Jungle Trails | Deniyaya to Kitulgala

The penultimate leg of our journey heads to Kitulgala, the adrenaline capital of the country. The drive is a masterpiece of scenery, featuring some of the most lush greenery in the world. Upon arrival, we trade our Jeeps for rafts to tackle the white-water rapids of the Kelani River—the filming location for "The Bridge on the River Kwai."
