Day 1: Negombo to Kalpitiya

Day 2: Kalpitiya to Sigiriya

  • Today’s journey takes you inland, passing through coconut plantations and quaint villages.
  • En route, consider a stop at the Wilpattu National Park, a wildlife sanctuary known for its leopards, sloth bears, and elephants.
  • Sigiriya, also known as the Lion Rock, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a must-visit for any Sri Lanka itinerary. Climb the ancient rock fortress to witness the breathtaking views and explore the ruins of a 5th-century palace complex.

Day 3: Sigiriya to Polonnaruwa

  • This short ride allows you to explore the ancient city of Polonnaruwa, another UNESCO World Heritage Site.
  • The city was the capital of Sri Lanka from the 11th to 13th centuries and is filled with fascinating ruins of palaces, temples, and statues.
  • Don’t miss the Gal Vihara with its beautifully carved rock statues of Buddha.

Day 4: Polonnaruwa to Trincomalee

  • Today’s ride takes you to the eastern coast of Sri Lanka.
  • Trincomalee is a beautiful port city with a long and rich history. Explore the Trincomalee Fort, Koneswaram Temple, Pigeons island resort and the stunning beaches.

Day 5: Trincomalee to Pasikuda Beach

  • Relax and unwind on the pristine beaches of Pasikuda.
  • Enjoy water sports activities like jet skiing, windsurfing, and diving. The beaches are known for their calm waters and soft white sand.

Day 6: Pasikuda Beach to Dambana tribe village

  • Head towards the hills and experience a unique cultural immersion at a village inhabited by the indigenous Vedda people.
  • Learn about their way of life, traditions, and deep connection with nature.

Day 7: Dambana tribe village to Kandy

  • Enjoy a scenic ride through the central highlands, reaching the historic city of Kandy, Sri Lanka’s cultural capital.

Day 12: Yala to Udawalawe National Park
